Wholesale garden decoration: a buying guide for hotels, restaurants and landscapers

    Published 1 February 2026 · Updated 1 September 2026

Wholesale garden decoration is the bulk purchase of outdoor decorative objects — sculptures, animal figures, planters and themed props — directly from a manufacturer at production pricing. For a hotel, restaurant or landscaping contractor it replaces retail unit buying with one order, one lead time and one freight cost.

Which material should a business choose?

Fiberglass (GRP) is the default choice for commercial outdoor decoration because it combines low weight with weather resistance. Concrete and stone are heavier and need equipment to move; plastic is cheap but fades and cracks under UV.

How do you pick the right size for a space?

Size should follow viewing distance. A piece read from 10 metres away — a hotel entrance or a garden axis — needs to be at least 120 cm tall, while a lobby corner works at 60-100 cm.

    • Under 40 cm: reception desks, shop windows, tabletop display.
    • 40-100 cm: interior corners, corridors, terrace edges.
    • 100-200 cm: garden paths, pool surroundings, restaurant entrances.
    • Over 200 cm: focal points, mall atriums, photo spots.

Every product page lists exact dimensions, and the catalogue has a Small Size Items filter for pieces under 30x40 cm.

    What does installation involve?

Most fiberglass pieces need no foundation — their low weight lets two people place a 200 cm figure. In wind-exposed locations, anchor the base to a plate or weight the interior cavity with sand.

    How are the pieces maintained?

Maintenance is mostly cleaning. Wash with water and a mild detergent, avoid abrasive pads and solvents, and renew the protective varnish every two to three years in full-sun locations to keep colours from fading.

    What should you budget?

Wholesale pricing scales with volume of material, not just size. Small figures sit at the bottom of the range, large animal sculptures at the top, and tiered cart discounts reduce the unit price as order size grows. Exact manufacturer pricing is visible after corporate registration.
